An Elaborate Cap, for a Fragrance Inspired by the Sea

We spoke to Parlux about Capri by Vince Camuto’s pretty packaging.

Summer’s warm weather has us thinking about when we discussed Capri by Vince Camuto with Parlux – and the bottle’s elaborate cap modeled after the designer’s crest logo.

Richard Herpin of Firmenich described the fragrance, saying: “Thinking of the breathtaking coastal landscape and waters of Capri, Italy, I imagined a woman walking on the beaches of this tiny, yet luxurious island…Her dress dances in the breeze like the uttering petals of the frangipani, peach blossom and violet I put in the fragrance. For the background, I thought of the warmth of sun-kissed skin and built in creamy woods, vanilla and musks.”
